International Pty Ltd which is a company that was
set up in 1988 and specialises in organisational
development and improvement.

Treasure Gordon

|
Treasure is responsible for
the conference and event side of the business and
is actively involved in the day to day management
of conferences and events that the company is
involved with. As Director of Desliens Conference
& Event Management, Treasure was the first
professional conference organiser in the NT to
become an accredited member of the “Meetings
Industry Association of Australia” (MIAA) (AMIAA).
She has participated in their Management Training
Program-Module I and II in 1994 and 1995 to obtain
accreditation to the Association in November 1995.
Treasure has strong
organisational abilities, attention to detail and
the ability to co-ordinate event programs. Prior
to establishing Desliens in 1993, Treasure worked
for the Northern Territory Government (12 years).
During the last five years of working with the NT
Government Treasure was involved in organising
trade displays, business seminars held locally and
interstate, co-ordination and planning assistance
for the large contingent of overseas government
visitors to NT Expo in 1993 and compiling visit
programs for overseas potential investors to the
Northern Territory.
Treasure is a member of the
Meetings Industry Association of Australia since
1995 and is currently a Committee member of the NT
Branch of the Meetings Industry Association of
Australia with the specific responsibility of
overseeing the Professional Development courses
hosted by the local branch. Treasure is also an
Associate member of Tourism Top End and a member
of the Darwin Entertainment Centre.

Adam Gordon B Ag Econ, MBA |
|
Adam is the
Managing Director of Catalyst Consulting
International Pty Ltd and has extensive
experience at a senior level in government and
industry and has been a consultant and trainer
for many years.
Adam provides:

A supervisory role
for ALL conferences and events organised by the
company since it commenced operations in 1993.

Guidance to the
Conference Committee in the development of their
conference program, marketing and publicity. It
is Adam’s involvement that has been the major
force in turning around those conferences the
company has worked on that have had problems with
decreasing numbers of delegates

Assistance
in
sourcing
speakers
and
sponsors
from
his
network
of
business
contacts,
if
required.

Risk
assessment
and
management
plan
-
Development
of
the
Quality
Plan
and
overall
responsibility
for
Quality
His community involvement
includes being Chairman of the Darwin
Entertainment Centre and Member of the Australian
Industry Defence Network (AIDN) and of the Top End
Region Committee of the NT Chamber of Commerce
(Past Chairman).

Marissa Francis
|
|
As Conference Coordinator,
Marissa joined Desliens in January 2003 and is
involved in the day to day activities of
organisation and coordination of conferences and
events. Marissa has excellent ‘people’ skills,
uses her own initiative and effectively liaises
with delegates and suppliers. She has a
background in hospitality and has recently
completed her Bachelor of Business Administration
(Hospitality Management).
This team has the necessary
conference and event, marketing and finance skills
to meet and exceed contractual requirements.

Support Staff |

To meet the requirements for
support, which typically arises as the events get
closer, Desliens have a team
of regular casuals we are able to call on
to meet the needs for hands-on people. |

Sub-Contractors |
|
Sub-contractors are sourced
following liaison with clients. We have a good
working relationship with a range of
sub-contractors including caterers suitable for
indoor and outdoor events, coach companies, tour
providers, venues, audio-visual suppliers,
accommodation and travel providers, stationary and
printing suppliers etc. |
